Pete Squires

For my dear friend Chris and her family:
While I know that no amount of consoling can soothe this tremendous loss, I know in my heart of hearts that your dad has found a place of peace and wonderment. The void felt by his passing is an indicator of the abundance he has brought to the lives of those whose lives he has touched. His body wore out but his spirit and his memory will live with the same abundance. My heartfelt condolences on his passing.
Pete died while waiting for a lung transplant. If you want to be an organ donor, please sign your drivers license and be sure your family knows your wishes. What greater gift is there than to give the dying life?

just visiting to say hello. it's been such a long time, and i'd love to see you writing again.
it's ironic that your last post was about organ donation and loss. i adopted my daughter 2 years ago...she was my patient, and she needed a kidney transplant but had no chance of getting one in the situation she was in. now she is mine, and in august she will have had her new kidney for 2 years. my, how incredibly things can change in a short time. thinking of you...
Just wandering by again, 4 years later, to see if you've posted. Hope you are well. xoxo
